Moon Astronaut Studios was founded in 2018.

Band Ladies is a darkly comedic digital original series about Fed up and on the cusp of middle age, 5 disenchanted women turn their book club into a punk band, 20 years too late. When a video of their first performance makes the news, the heroines are forced to become more badass than they bargained for. The series follows them as they are launched into a music career where they discover true friendship, three chord progression and the inner strength no one thought they had, least of all themselves.

Band Ladies won the Independent Production Fund in 2019 and was granted additional funding through the Bell Fund.
